Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ public policy agenda and advocacy efforts are directed by the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church. Guided by its mission of “Serving Humanity to Honor God,” our vision is to be the leader for improving wellness of the least served. Our strategic focus is to advance health equity by creating fair and just opportunities for every person to reach their full potential for health and life and contribute to that of others.

Texas Kids Count Data Report 

Texas can be a state where all children can thrive. Our report and data maps provide a deeper understanding of child well-being in Texas and identify opportunities to invest in Texas children.

Texas A&M Health – Safe Water Project

Methodist Healthcare Ministries announced a new partnership with the Texas A&M University School of Public Health to conduct a two-year study of arsenic and other toxic contaminants occurring in residential drinking water within border colonia communities in the Rio Grande Valley.

Maverick County – Broadband Study
