Our Recreation and Enrichment Programs believe that staying healthy isn’t just about taking care of your body—it’s also about connecting with others. We offer a variety of programs to help you feel your best and build stronger relationships with the people around you. By joining together in activities and learning, we help each other on the path to wellness. MHM’s Recreation and Enrichment Programs are all about giving everyone the chance to live healthier lives. We offer programs for seniors (50+), adults, and kids, helping bridge the gap in health and wellness for all.

Recreation Programs:

      • Line Dancing: A fun and easy way to stay active with simple dance routines for all fitness levels.
      • Cardio Conditioning: Boost your heart health with high-energy, full-body workouts to build strength and endurance.
      • Baila 2 Fitness: A lively Latin-inspired dance workout that blends music and movement for a fun fitness session.
      • Flex Fit: This class focuses on stretching and strength to help improve movement and flexibility.
      • Tai Chi: A gentle, low-impact class to improve balance, focus, and relaxation through slow movements and deep breathing.
      • Yoga: A practice that strengthens your body and clears your mind with different poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

Enrichment Programs:

      • Quilting & Sewing: Work on fun and creative projects while learning new skills and connecting with others.
      • Crocheting: Learn or improve your crocheting in a friendly, relaxed environment where you can share ideas and create unique designs.
      • Jewelry Making: Design and make your own jewelry, using different materials to show off your creativity.
      • Senior Planet: A program for seniors (50+) to help them feel more confident using technology, from smartphones to computers, and staying connected.

 Youth Programs:

      • After-School Academic Hall: Partnering with Harlandale ISD, this program provides students with tutoring, homework help, and fun activities at Wesley Health & Wellness Center.
      • Camp Wesley (Summer and Spring Break Camps): Our camps offer a safe and fun space for kids to enjoy activities like STEM learning and field trips, helping them grow and be creative.

 Adult Programs:

    • Evening Workout Sessions: Join us for fitness boot camps, Cardio Conditioning, and other evening workouts to stay healthy while connecting with your community.

Jaime Wesoloski

President & Chief Executive Officer

Jaime Wesolowski is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. A healthcare executive with three decades of leadership experience, Jaime is responsible for the overall governance and direction of Methodist Healthcare Ministries. Jaime earned his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Xavier University, and his Bachelor’s of Science from Indiana University in Healthcare Administration. As a cancer survivor, Jaime is a staunch supporter of the American Cancer Society. He serves as Chair of the American Cancer Society’s South Texas Area board of directors and he was appointed as Chair to the recently created South Region Advisory Cabinet, covering eight states from Arizona through Alabama. Jaime believes his personal experience as a cancer survivor has given him more defined insight and compassion to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
