A: Luma helps you get messages from your care team. You can get reminders, forms, and updates by text message.
Q: Do I need to download an app?
A: No. You don’t need to download anything. Luma works with normal text messages.
Q: Will I get reminders for my visits?
A: Yes! Luma will send you reminders before your appointment so you don’t forget.
Q: Can I reply to the messages?
A: Yes. You can text back to confirm your visit or ask simple questions.
Q: Is my information safe?
A: Yes. Luma keeps your health information private and secure.
Q: Will this change how I see my doctor or nurse?
A: No. You will still see your doctor or nurse the same way. Luma just helps with messages and reminders.
Q: Can I stop the messages?
A: Yes. You can reply “STOP” at any time to stop messages.
Q: What kind of messages will I get?
A: You may get messages about your next appointment, forms to fill out, or health tips.
Q: Will Luma work in Spanish?
A: Yes. You can get messages in English or Spanish.
Q: Who can I call if I need help?
A: You can call your clinic if you have questions about your messages.

A: No. You don’t need a username or password. Just use your name and birthday each time you open a message.
