Bridge of Blessings

Methodist Healthcare Ministries knows that everyone needs help to be healthy. When you’re struggling to keep up, it's hard to be at your best. Even when there are people around you who love and want to support you. That’s why we're connecting our patients and clients to resources through our Bridge of Blessings platform.

Support Registry for Patients

For some patients, medical treatment, especially specialist care, comes with loss of income and financial hardship. Methodist Healthcare Ministries created Bridge of Blessings, in partnership with The WiTT Group Inc., to offer patients an easy way to ask family and friends for help with non-clinical needs that improve their well-being.

Bridge of Blessings is a free, online platform where MHM patients can create a Support Registry to request assistance with a wide range of non-clinical expenses such as transportation, food, gas, housing, and co-pays. Patients can also request assistance with non-financial needs such as babysitting, dog walking, rides to treatment, and much more.

About Bridge of Blessings

Bridge of Blessings is utilized by MHM patients who can sign up to create their support registries.
Patients

Bridge of Blessings is used as any other “registry”. Patients create a list of all items that they need help with (both financial and non-financial) and post those items on the platform so that everyone who wants to help them has visibility to what the patient needs.

Families, Friends, and Colleagues:

Loved ones and caregivers can be invited by patients to join a patient’s private care circle on the Bridge of Blessings Registry where they no longer have to guess how they can help, and they have options and flexibility in the ways they can provide support.

Anonymous Support:

Anyone can support patients on the Bridge of Blessings registry and have an opportunity to donate directly to patients in need. Every patient whose registry is public has been verified as a real patient by the MHM Bridge of Blessings team, ensuring that donors can give with confidence. The Bridge of Blessings registry also provides transparency on what each request is for and facilitates easy transfer of funds to patients.

For Donors: Support a Patient

If you’d like to support a MHM patient but are unsure how, consider making an anonymous donation on the Bridge of Blessings platform.
