14th Annual Health Ministry Symposium

Opening Hearts, Minds and Doors to Embrace Health & Wellness

Wesley Nurse Health Ministries™ is pleased to provide annual educational opportunities for nurses and healthcare providers of all faiths, as well as community leaders and others involved in health ministries.

The Health Ministry Symposium is designed to:

  • Increase awareness of current and future issues, as well as trends, in faith community health ministry.
  • Promote excellence in faith community health ministry and reinforce its impact on multicultural communities.
  • Inspire, nurture and rejuvenate health ministry providers through sharing of ideas and networking with speakers and attendees.

Health ministry is complicated on many levels and requires dedication, compassion, and understanding. Nurses, pastors, and practicioners involved in health ministry will also affirm that it is an incredibly rewarding endeavor. The focus of the upcoming Health Ministry Symposium's Opening Hearts, Minds, and Doors to Embrace Health and Wellness theme is to examine the complex issues encountered in health ministry and to explore ways that we can motivate individuals, congregations, and communities to embrace total health: body, mind, and spirit.

The 14th Annual Health Ministry Symposium is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 2012 to Friday, February 10, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas.
