Methodist Healthcare Ministries functions through multiple departments,
each carrying out a portion of the responsibilities that, when combined,
drive MHM to its stated goals. Each department is led by an experienced
professional who directs a staff of mission-focused individuals
committed to service to those in need.
Research, Planning & Policy Methodist Healthcare Ministries is committed to addressing the needs of
the underserved. In addition to direct services, it is critical to
address change that comes legislatively. The Research group helps define
the reality behind the issues quantitatively. It also works to assist
MHM partner organizations in seeking grants to facilitate funding to
meet objectives. The Planning group defines areas of need and future
growth to meet MHM’s mission. MHM’s Policy Department ensures that MHM’s
positions are known to legislative officials, and that it works in
association with like-minded organizations to change policy to those
that reflect the values of Methodist Healthcare Ministries.
