In 2012, MHM hosted an exclusive two-part, Statewide Mental Health Legislative Summit to evaluate the system of care in Texas.
The first phase was designed to gather information from all regions of the state to better understand the challenges and issues there are in the delivery of mental health care in Texas.
The second part of the Summit provided an opportunity for legislators and stakeholders to come together to work on the top legislative priorities identified in the June Summit Report while contributing to a mental health policy plan of action for the 83rd Legislative Session.
